  1. Your introduction is well organized and includes all the necessary components. However, it is extremely important to refer to Munro as opposed to the author.
    With that in mind, it is also important that you refer Munro and use specific literary terminology to describe what is taking place in the text. Instead of saying “the character is reflected as” describe how “here Munro uses a simile in order to indirectly characterize Rose’s father as.” This is essential to score well in Criterion B. You have a strong understanding of the passage, but you need to articulate this as a student of literature.
